Dance India Dance is one of the most viewed dance reality on tv show in India and is also referred to DID until 2023. It has been running for seven seasons. Here on this page I’m going to present the complete list of DID winners from all seasons 1-7 with their pictures, names host, judge, and more.

Dance India Dance is an Indian show for dance that is extremely popular with the young people of India. The show is broadcast on the channel Zee TV which is produced by UTV Software Communication. It is the national television adaptation of the Zee Bangla dance reality show Dance Bangla Dance which also includes Mithun Chakraborty as the Grand Master. The very first episode of the show first shown on 30th January 2009 and featured host Tarana Raja. The show has since its second 2nd season, it has been hosted by the actors Saumya Tandon as well as Jay Bhanushali.
The format of this show
The show has a format that allows dancers of a variety of styles audition for open auditions in Indian metro cities to show their individual style and talent and, if they are allowed to advance, they go through a series of auditions in order to assess their ability to adjust to various styles.
At the conclusion of the an audition that is massive, the only the top 18 dancers will be selected as finalists. They go onto the main competition phase, where they’ll perform duet, solo and group dances in various styles to win their votes from the viewers. The votes, when combined with the opinion of an independent panel of judges, decides which dancers be selected for the next stage. The process is repeated from each week. The show has won numerous Television Awards for “Most Popular Dance Reality Show”.

Dance India Dance Season 1 Winner: Salman Yusuf Khan (2009)
The debut season Dance India Dance was won by ” Salman Yusuf Khan” from the team of Remo Ke Rangeeley . The initial show of the season premiered at Zee TV on 30 the day of January 2009. The finale was scheduled on the 30 of May 2009. of May, 2009.
It was presented by Tarana Raja. The judges or mentors for the show included “Geeta Kapoor” “Terence Lewis” and “Remo D’Souza” while the Mithun Chakrabortywas the Grand Master on the show.
Salman Khan emerges as the champion of the competition. Alisha Singh of Team ” Terence Ki Toli” becomes the first runner-up on the show.
Dance India Dance Season 2 Winner: Shakti Mohan (2010)
DID’s second season DID returned in 2010, and this season was hosted by Saumya Tandon, and Jay Bhanushali. The final part of the series launched on 23 the 23rd April 2010, which was won by Shakti Mohan from the team of ” Terence Ki Toli” while Dharmesh Yelnawade became the first runner-up of members of “Geeta Ki Gang”. The names of three judges and the team of the show is as the following:

Dance India Dance Season 3 Winner: RajaSmita Kar (2011)
The show grew in popularity season after year and it returned in 2011 with season 3. The show had hosts Saumya Tandon, and Jay Bhanushali. The finale of the show aired on the 24 December 2011. November 2011 at Zee TV which was won by Rajsmita Kara from the group of ” Geeta Ki Gang“.
The young lady came of the Odisha state. She won a lot of hearts with her performance. It was a tough contest in the same way that Pradeep Gurung became the first runner on the show. The judges was the same as in the previous season. The names of the judges are listed below.

Dance India Dance Season 4 Winner: Shyam Yadav (2014)
Dance India Dance season 4 has returned after a lengthy absence. For the fourth fourth season of DID there were no judges of the previous panel. We there were new faces, both as contestants as well as judges. The grand master of the competition was ” Mithun Chakraborty“.
Shyam Yadav, a member of his team Mudassar Ki Mandli is declared the champion in Dance India Dance season 4 while Manan Sachdeva of the group of (Shruti Ke Shandaar) becomes the first runner-up on the show. The names for the season 4 4th season’s judges are as below:

Dance India Dance Season 5 Winner: Proneeta Swargiary (2015)
The fifth season of DID was shown on TV starting on 27 June 2015 to 27 June 2015, and is hosted by Jay Bhanushali. Season 5 featured judges were new faces, whose names are listed below along with their group’s name. Proneeta Swargiary is the emergence finalist from Dance India Dance season 5 in 2015. She won the cash prize, as well as being named India’s top dancer.

Dance India Dance Season 6 Winner: Sanket Gaonkar (2018)
The 6th season of the show shown on TV after 3 years of a gap. The sixth season of DID was launched on the 5th November 2017 and was aired for 16 weeks. The total amount of episodes in season six was 31,, and the finale premiered on February 18, 2018. The show was won by Sanket Gaonkar. The Sachin Sharma was the first runner-up.
Sanket Gaonkar was a Mini Pradhan. The name of the team she was in is ” Mini Ke Masterblasters” Sanket took home the trophy and was awarded the golden hat and cash prizes.
Dance India Dance Season 7 Winner: The Unreal Crew – North Ke Nawabs (2019)
The 7th season of the show shown on the 22nd of June, 2019 and this year the format was completely different from the previous seasons of Dance Indian Dance there was just one contestant however this time a was a team of contestants in the show.
Finale was scheduled for the 29th of September, 2019 and was won by Unreal Crew- North Ke Nawab and the runner-up team were I AM Hip-Hop South Ke Thalaivas. It was challenging as always and it’s impossible to choose the judges as winner. After the public vote count, Unreal Crew lift up the trophy and became the emerging winner of the competition. They also took home the title of being the first team to take home the Dance India Dance show.
