Lock Upis an action-based reality show in which contestants who are notorious for their controversies are locked in prisons as prisoners with cameras watching them 24 hours a day. In the first episode of Lock Up, known as Lock Up: Badass Jail, Atyaachari Khel, was aired in the channels of ALTBalaji along with MX Player on 27 February 2022.
Actress Kangana Ranaut was the host The finale also referred to by the name of Badass Finale, took place on the 7th of May in 2022. The stand-up comic Munawar Faruqui was the winner of the competition, with actress Payal Rohatgi being the runner-up.
About Lock Up
Based on the contest rules the contestants of 19 known by the name of inmates as well as Khaidis,who were thought to be a threat to the public must fight to get the basic necessities they needed and impress the viewers as well as the host, Kangana Ranaut. The contestants were required to complete different tasks to display their personality and ultimately win the competition.
Actress Karan Kundra played the role of Jailor. actress Tejasswi Prakash appeared on the show for the finale as the Jail Warden. In the end, after 70 days of competition, the contestant who received the highest number of votes left with a freedom award and the coveted trophy.

Winner of Lock Up
Munawar Faruqui Munawar Faruqui, an Indian stand-up performer and comedian, took home the inaugural Season of Lock Up. He was awarded the prize of a lifetime and a car, as well as a cash prize of 20 lakhs and an all-expenses-paid trip Italy. The most infamous controversy of his occurred when he was detained in violation of the Hate speech law in India on the 1 1 January 2021 as he performed the stand-up show at Madhya Pradesh. It was alleged that he had been making offensive jokes about Hindu gods.
